Animation assignment; What frame rate were you aiming for.

I was aiming for at least 8 frames per second which is what I managed to achieve. I have 67 frames and the animation goes for 8 seconds.

Animation assignment; What image format did you save your frames as?

The format that I saved my frames as was also PNG images.

Animation assignment;  What image format were you saving your work in during development of the frames.

The format that i was saving my work as during the development of the files was a PNG image (Portable network graphics).

Animation assignment; Describe the creation process you followed.

The process to create my animation went as follows;
- Firstly, I chose what I was going to do for my animation and changed a few things and figured out what would work.
- Then I opened up inkscape and made the size of the page 400 pixels by 400 pixels.
- Next I found the images I was going to use in the animation and pasted them into inkscape.
- Next I exported each frame and saved each of them onto my usb.
- After each frame was exported I would slightly move each image to a different position which would look like a continuous movement once they were all finished and put together
- Once all of the frames were exported I dragged them into windows movie maker and changed the speed of each frame.
- After that I saved the frames as a movie and posted it on my blog.

Animation assignment; Describe what software you chose and why you chose it

To create my animation i used inkscape. Inkscape is an open-source vector graphics editor similar to Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Freehand, or Xara X. What sets Inkscape apart from them is its use of Scalable Vector Graphics.

I used inkscape to create my animation because it is easy and simple to do and everything is quite straight forward. Everythng needed to create the project is on inkscape. Inkscape is alot better than other programs such as adobe photo editor and word as it has all the different tools needed to make different frames to create an animation.

Animation assignment.

In the process of the animation assignment i experience alot of changes and problems and my idea for the project changed many times. Originally i was going to use nemo, as he is the mascot for Clare house. The problem with using nemo was that the background of the picture was a different blue to the background of the water on the inskape page, because of this i decided that it would be easier to just restart my whole project.

I decided to use tigger because he is orange and that is relevant to Clare house. Using inskape i made tigger bounce by creating different frames with him in different positions. I also made butterflies fly around him and the word 'Clare' move.

This is my final product;
